Dodgers Player Profiles - Matt Taylor

Matt was arguably our best batsman last year and looked consistently impressive without quite managing the major score he frequently threatened (he also played much more. Ed.). In his settled opening slot he looks a good bet for a stack of runs next season. Matt is also an excellent fielder with safe pair of hands and a strong arm (too strong for must of us geriatric cowards!).

Despite justifiably limited bowling opportunities, managed to pick up 3 wickets in an innings against a side that blasted over 200 despite bowling complete dross.

Is rightly proud of being from Yorkshire.
